In the early 80's, skateboarders from California and Sweden were united in the small town of Rättvik in Dalarna, Sweden. During some hot summers, groundbreaking new tricks were developed that laid the foundation for modern skateboarding. 40 years later, the past is brought to life due to a peculiar finding in the Swedish forest. For ten-year-old skater Hedda this becomes the prelude to a journey that will take her closer to her dream - to one day take a place among the young talented female skateboarders in the world.
