About us
Film i Dalarna is a supporting organization with a mandate to develop and support the film cultural activities in Dalecarlia, Sweden.
Film i Dalarna creates an environment for filmproduction, education and screening in Dalecarlia by:
- support film for children and youth
- support filmproductions
- give the countys filmmakers and writers economical, artistic and technical supplies
- work for exchange and cooperation between the countys cultural institutions, TV-stations, filmmakers and writers
- be a resource for different media educations in University and Peoples High Schools
- run development programmes and work within the area
- be open for cooperation with filmmakers from other counties and countries
